Yes. Hemp-derived delta-9 is the same THC you already know—it’s the compound that produces a high. The only difference is the source: hemp versus other forms of cannabis. By law, hemp means cannabis with 0.3% or less delta-9 THC by dry weight. That technicality is what makes it federally legal (though state laws vary).
At the federal level, if the THC is extracted from hemp and the finished product contains no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, then yes, it’s really legal. That’s straight from the 2018 Farm Bill. But every state gets to make its own call, and some are far stricter.
No. While federal law allows compliant hemp products, some states can and do impose stricter laws. You’ll be able to see at checkout if we can deliver to your location, but always check the local rules before ordering.
THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the acidic precursor to THC. On its own, it doesn’t produce effects. But once you apply heat (aka decarboxylate) through smoking, vaping, baking, or other means, it converts into delta-9. In hemp regulations, labs often must measure “total THC” (i.e. delta-9 + potential conversion from THCA), which means much of the hemp flower sold online isn’t compliant everywhere.
Yes. Delta-9 is delta-9, whether it’s from hemp or cannabis. Same goes for THCA after heating. Don’t let the hemp label trick you into thinking it’s weaker. Use cautious dosing, especially if you are inexperienced.
The molecule is the same. What matters is quality. The big things to look for:
- Published, third-party lab results (COAs you can actually read)
- Honest labeling and potency information
- No kid-friendly or candy-copycat packaging
That’s why we require regularly updated COAs and only carry products from brands we have personally tried, vetted, and trust.
Very likely. Standard drug tests detect THC metabolites and do not differentiate sources. Whether THC was hemp-derived or cannabis-derived, a test can flag it. Avoid usage if you are subject to testing.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is but one of the many chemical compounds found in cannabis. It provides a calming, soothing effect that’s been said to treat everything from insomnia and anxiety to depression and pain.
This is the permissive threshold under federal law. Products are measured against their total dry weight, not by serving. That’s how a gummy can be federally compliant and still deliver noticeable effects.
In the U.S., if the product is compliant with federal hemp law, you can transport it by air (in checked or carry-on), subject to TSA rules. But please note that local state law matters: if your destination bans THC, you could run into legal risk.
Some companies create delta-9 by chemically converting CBD or selling delta-8 products. We don’t. All of the products we carry use direct hemp extraction to stay within the federal 0.3% limit. No shortcuts, no conversions, and no delta-8.
Yes. Both Congress and state legislatures are debating the future of intoxicating hemp right now. This is a snapshot in time, not the last word.
Yes, as long as it’s made from hemp.
Yes. There’s not really any danger of overdosing on CBD. Much like vitamins, your body can naturally only absorb a certain amount of cannabinoids. The worst effects that you could expect from too much is nausea, agitation, or dizziness. That said, there is still some debate around using CBD during pregnancy, so if you’re pregnant you may want to abstain.
You can find the Certificates of Analysis for all our products here.
Our products are tested for potency, contaminants, and quality before being packaged and shipped to you, and are both 3rd-party and batch tested. You can find COAs for each in the answer below.
Full-spectrum extractions do contain a small amount of THC (.3% THC) that is well below the legal limit. This means that full-spectrum CBD can (albeit rarely) trigger false positives in drug tests. In those instances, you should ask for a more specific confirmation test, such as a blood test, which would show the correct results. These instances are very rare but we want to make sure you have all the info you need! However, if you’re still concerned, you might want to try a product with CBD isolate, as those have completely zero THC, though are often considerably less effective.
Our products are formulated with hemp-derived, full-spectrum CBD, which means that they are federally legal. Full-spectrum extractions do contain a small amount of THC (0.3% THC or less) that is within the federally legal limit.
The “entourage effect” is cannabinoids working in concert to increase their therapeutic benefits and effects. Think of it as the cannabinoid version of “it takes a village.” It’s also why we recommend full spectrum products (not just ours) over isolate ones.
Due to varying international restrictions and regulations around hemp and CBD, we can't speak to the legality of our tinctures and Delights outside of the U.S. (which is the only place we currently ship our CBD products). We strongly recommend against attempting this and cannot speak to the repercussions of taking the product through customs or possessing it in your area.
Our Stoner Slides run a bit small, so if your foot tends to be on the wider side, we would recommend sizing a half size up.
We recommend using isopropyl alcohol and salt to clean your Nesting Set pipe. The ashtray can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and water, then wiped with a cloth. You can also watch this video for more detailed instructions.
